The course follows a step-based blended delivery model:
Step 1: Online Learning – theory units completed online.
Step 2: Clinical Intensive Workshop – 7 days (Mon–Sun), face-to-face training in QLD, NSW, VIC, or WA.
Step 3: Clinical Placement – minimum 80 hours in supervised workplace settings.
Step 4: Final Online Units – complete remaining workplace and professional practice units.
Minimum Age: 17 years
Residency: Australian Citizen, PR, or eligible visa for domestic study
Driver’s Licence: Valid (open licence preferred, P plates acceptable)
Physical Fitness: Must be capable of patient handling, CPR on floor, lifting equipment/patients, and working in confined spaces
