Phase 1: Self-paced Online Learning whereupon enrolment each student is provided electronic access to the Learning Management System (LMS) with a username and password to access learning resources including learner guide(s) and/or workbook(s) (where available), recorded lectures, link to live lectures/workshops and weekly support sessions, assessment information with submission links, supplementary information and readings, information on textbooks (where required) and any other relevant information required to complete the course. Testimonials

    Darian Brett

I have been studying the Diploma of Emergency Health Care with Heed Health Education since December 2021. I have found the course structure and study material easy to understand and when I have been in doubt I’ve been able to ask for clarification with quick response from the educators. The course subjects are taught be experience Paramedics with first hand knowledge of the way to Emergency health sector works. As a PTO already this course (specifically through HEED) has been Invaluable in furthering my career in its natural advancement from PTO to ATA. I highly recommended HEED health Education to anyone considering their diploma studies

    Macaylor

I wanted to say a huge thank you for all the techniques you’ve shown me over the time we have spent together. Last weekend I has a spectator at mx who had experienced chest pain, had a hx of heart disease and also had a stent placed a week ago. From his appearance my partner and I decided to run an EGC, only to find he had type 1 heart block and possibly experienced a STEMI during the day. He was a priority 1 to hospital. I found out today that he was in ICU for 5 days and has recently been transferred to the recovery ward. As a thank you from him, he presented us with wine 😊 But he stated that if it wasn’t for us and our quick thinking, he would not have been here today. So, I’m thanking you for everything you have done in the shaping of my career and learning

    Ben

I completed the Diploma of Paramedical Science earlier this year and the head trainer at the college was Kristy, I found Kristy to be an excellent trainer who was a wealth of knowledge. Kristy has had a long career in pre hospital care and that could be felt when Kristy was training students as her passion for the pre hospital environment meant that she wanted the students to fully understand what pre hospital care is all about and was always very accommodating when it came to answering questions from students. Kristy was very clear in what she expected from the students when it came to both the training and assessments. I myself was deemed not yet competent at the first workshop by Kristy which was hard for myself to accept but Kristy was excellent and gave me relevant feedback and support that I needed which meant when I came back for my second attempt at the workshop, I was able to pass with flying colours. I personally feel very privileged to have been trained by Kristy. Kristy taught me so much about pre hospital care and also about myself. I would highly recommend Kristy as a trainer assessor and I wish Kristy all the best for the future.

    Taylor

Wanted to send you a message to say thank you as I drive up my university orientation for paramedical science. Without your amazing teaching and real talk throughout my diploma, I don’t know if I would be sitting here today, so a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart!

    Kristi

Just wanted to drop a lil msg to say a massive thanks for all your hard work you have put in, especially the workshops I’ve attended! I have my diploma cert in my hands now!! Somehow you bring out the best in us and give the confidence to believe WE CAN!! It’s been fantastic learning from you! You make it fun!! Again, THANK YOU!!

    Ben Mahoney

The trainers and assessors at Heed are professional and knowledgeable and provided quality information to assist in my studies and completion of course subjects. I was provided helpful feedback to support my studies and assessment tasks. The assessments were fair and clearly explained by the assessor to support the consolidation of my skills and the assessment. The most valuable for me throughout the training and assessment experience with the Heed Education was the prompt and professional interaction with HEED personnel, particularly the ongoing follow-up from HEED, making sure that the course was progressing smoothly. I would recommend the training to others. I’d like to say thanks to Kristy for her help and support throughout the course, she did a great job! Have a great New Year and stay safe with all the craziness going on.

Being a mature age student I was skeptical about online learning as I had only experienced education in a classroom environment. However, being time poor and having no availability to attend classes in person I decided to research online institutions. I enrolled with Heed Health Education in the Diploma of Emergency Health Care. I am really enjoying online learning, the support from the teachers and admin staff at Heed have made the transition to this format of education easy and seamless. They are quick to reply if i have any questions and always ready to offer support when I need it. Thank you so much Heed Health Education team. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at Workshop No 1.

Cheers and best wishes for the season. I can tell you that I am enjoying my studies a lot. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. I genuinely love the study and the material is now like an old friend. I remember when I started, it all felt a bit strange but now it is pure pleasure. Sometimes wish the pathophysiology was just a bit more detailed. But still HEAPS fun.

Cheers and best wishes for the season. I can tell you that I am enjoying I am so grateful to Kristy and the team at Heed Health Education. I was able to RPL & Credit Transfer the Cert IV Healthcare and Diploma in Healthcare in record time. They were incredibly supportive and kind and articulated exactly what evidence was required for the process. They were extremely professional and I knew that I was in good hands. I highly recommend them and will most certainly be recommending them to others.

I am currently studying my certificate 4 in Health Care through Heed Health Education, having recently completed clinical workshop 1, and my experiences have been extremely positive. From correspondence before even committing to a course, to asking 15 questions about an assignment in a single email and everything in-between, the team at Heed Health Education's guidance, patience, professionalism, industry insight, and knowledge has been fantastic. The self-managed online learning learning format allows me to study what I can when I can, and the delivery structure of the units allows you to remain engaged with the material without feeling like you've bitten off too much as you gain knowledge.Clinical workshop 1 helps combine everything you've learnt and learn to apply it in simulated real world situations, which along with being a great experience, I feel is an important life skill even if you don't plan to work in the industry.I would highly recommend Heed Health Education for anybody looking to expand their health care and life support skills, or gain qualifications for a career in the health care industry.BACKGROUND: I am in my mid 30's and I work full time in a completely different industry with no previous health care experience (except for my First Aid Cert). I try to study approximately 10hrs each week however some weeks it might be 2hrs, sometimes maybe 12, so if I can do it you can too. My reason for choosing to study this certificate is because I have been unsure what career path to follow, I am learning essential life-saving skills, and in the grand scheme of things the financial/time commitment is not immense.
