Current and valid Driver’s Licence (an OPEN licence is preferable, however a reasonable adjustment throughout the assessment process is able to be undertaken for students with their “P” plates)
Reasonable level of physical fitness in order to participate in the practical training and assessment activities and clinical placements. In particular students will be required to do the following:

Ambulance Officer, Ambulance Dispatch Officer, Basic Life Support Medic, Patient Transport Officer, Industrial Medic, Oil and Gas Medic On/Offshore, Defence Force/Private/Industrial/Remote/Event Medic.
Diploma/Undergrad/Postgrad degree in Paramedicine/Paramedical Science, Nursing, Allied Healthcare
Assessment tasks include and are often a combination but are not limited to the following – written question and answers, case studies/role play, project completion, practical exercises/performance tasks, report writing, online tests/quiz, face-to-face clinical intensive workshop, on the job training (clinical placement).

If you have acquired the relevant skills and knowledge through work experience, employment and other life experience, then you may be eligible for RPL. Following the successful completion of the program, Qualification Testamur and Record of Results will be issued in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) by Heed Education with provider number 45064
